We, as organizers of EMFEM, are proposing a co-edited volume that is focused on feminist philosophies and practices (centering philosophical, political, and social issues), drawing its inspiration from your work featured in the "Old Dilemmas, New Voices: Feminist Ethics and #MeToo" conference. We are asking for 250-300 word abstracts that can either be a version of your presentations, or else focused on a different, but related, topic. This volume intends to feature work on topics that include, but are not limited to:
- Transnational Feminist Perspectives on Agency, Consent, and Deception
- Transnational Social Movements, Authoritarianism, and the Politics of Feminist Solidarity
- Feminist Theory and Moral Responsibilities to Refugees
- #MeToo in Intersectional Contexts
- Marginalised Bodies
- Feminism and Race
- Feminist Perspectives on Autonomy and Care in Romantic Relationships
- Trust, Distrust, and Weaponized Excuses
- Misogyny and Dehumanization;
- Apologies, (the limits of) Forgiveness, and Accountability After #MeToo
- Pronatalism and Regretful Motherhood
- Radicalized Men in the Post #MeToo Era
- Embodied Testimonial Injustice
- Sexual Violence and Medical Sexism
- The #MeToo Movement in Sports
- Intersubjectivities in the #MeToo Movement

The abstracts are due by 15 September, 2025. We would be happy to discuss any questions you might have, and look forward to hearing from you. You can email us at: emfemconference@gmail.com
